A friend of mine wants a cooper automatic and will be getting one one the mobility scheme
He called Helliwell Jones in Warrington to book a test drive, but they told him that the auto box production has been suspended until next year due to a new one being developed so not to bother:aargh
I think he's getting fobbed off cause he's a mobility customer
Anyone heard anything about the auto box being suspended?????
Sounds like nonsense. They are rumoured to be developing a DSG gearbox but that is no reason to stop the current auto. The DSG may be held back for the third generation so don't hold your breath. Try another dealer.
