Stainless steel or no?

I'm changing my exhaust because since 2004...it's rusted and I ain't liking how it looks so I wish to change it....now the golden question is....Shall I get an after market exact copy of it but Stainless steel...so it won't rust again...or go with the original OEM?

Many thanks

Mark

Many moons ago I bought a stainless steel exhaust for my Mini Clubman Estate.
Great when I first fitted it but as it was so much heavier than the mild steel one, it went through the rubber mountings at the rate of knots. If you plan to get one, ask about stronger mountings.

Then I guess I should go with the OEM exhaust then, I'll replace the rubber mountings too while I'm at it.

thanks man

Or buy uprated mounts to suit a heavier exhaust.
I never thought about the weight when I bought mine.

Stainless, you can have them custom made to not produce a farting sund like many corsa's in my area.

Ideal for a car than should go on to reach 150k miles with servicing

I'm going to use the original as I really love the sound of it (The real thing) not to mention it would be a genuine part.
