mini emergency service

Hi
anybody with this cover which also applies to BMW cars is run by Mondial Assistance.
On Dec 6th i became stuck on packed ice,i tried everything possible to get traction and failed ,but i thought no problem i have cover only to be told we do not cover that kind of emergency only MECHANICAL!Then they put me through to THE MANSFIELD GROUP who told me they were takeing NO MORE PAYING CUSTOMERS BECAUSE OF THE DEMAND.check them out on the web they are not suffering because of the recession. The bottom line is read your document and renew with somebody who will not leave you to die of exposure.

Yes, and...? I doubt many people would expect assistance from MINI Emergency Service in such a situation to be honest.

Fortunately I've never been caught in this situation, but I must admit I wouldn't have thought to call MINI emergency service - do the likes of the AA and RAC cover this sort of thing?

I've been rescued when stuck in mud previously by standard Aa cover
