Hello, im new & help / info required

Firstly, hi to everyone on here, ive just registered today and we have purchased a 2004 mini cooper.

I am after some info from you guys, when i am driving the car and i pull back the front windscreen washers, the jets squirt the screen, but the wipers do not wipe the screen, i thought they should wipe about 3 times, it looks like they should reading the owners manual, can you let me know if they should, or is it another optional extra.

Also, getting quite bad clutch judder when the car is cold, is this a common problem.

the wipers should wipe the screen when you use the the washers but i think you have to hold it down for a little bit rather than just flick it.

Wipers only wipe if you keep the jets spraying for a few seconds(<5secs). This applies to both wipers (front and rear).

Thanks both of you for your help, went and tried them and you are spot on, they are working, i was only blipping them, saved me the shame of trying to get them fixed under warrenty.
