A Mini For The Mrs: Clutch Action One/Cooper/Cooper S?

Is the clutch action the same on all three varients?....or is it harder to depress on the Cooper S than on the One or Cooper?

The Mrs wants a Mini but found my Cooper S to be quite difficult to go through the gear change process (she is quite small!)

Before you judge a man walk a mile in his shoes, after that who cares? your a mile away and you have his shoes.

Nature of the beast I think! I remember the clutch on my R50 MINI One feeling slightly lighter than on my R53 JCW, but not by any great margin (although that's going back a few years).

I had an R56 MINI One First as a courtesy car for a day last year... clutch felt no different to that on my R56 JCW as far as I recall.

Someone with a current 2+ MINI family comprising a One/Cooper and an S/JCW should be able to confirm for sure?

I say you get her a gym member ship and some protein bars. Mini is totally worth it. My mini cooper's clutch is quite heavy compared to my dad's honda jazz.
