Has anyone had a welcome home party for their new Mini?
Mine is supposed to be here in December (yay!!!) and I'm thinking it would be fun to send out announcements like people do when they have babies, only make it some kind of cute invite with a pic of the Mini on it. Maybe with a British theme, tea and scones, and have it in the garage with the car, you know. After waiting almost nine months for it, it seems like there should be some kind of celebration!

It would be fun to do in January, after all the holidays.

We had a welcome home party for out MINI. We didn't do invitations because there wasn't enough time. I didn't know for sure when it would arrive. Many people had been following the saga of my MINI from ordering, through delays and delivery via e-mail updates I was sending out. We had a great turn out and people were very impressed with the car.
