| BMW / MINI should recall all MK1 MINIs After doing long searches over the internet regarding the Power Steering issue, I am convinced, like many others world wide, that BMW / MINI should do a Recall. About time I say. Otherwise, this will conlcude in a major Brand name damage in the coming years. Many have haid their pumps fail over the years. Some have had dangerous near misses and some have had their cars burned to the ground or close calls. BMW / MINI should act soon! Investigation in USA: (September 2010) NHTSA Investigates MINI Steering Complaints - U.S. News Rankings and Reviews What did this conclude? and why is it that 2004 and 2005 Cooper Model only mentioned? I'm starting to get worried sick about this issue! Mine does make a slight / medium whinning sound, but its a clean sound, heard it on some others passing by as well. Is this normal?
