Offline | EWA my source for rally magazines has Mini Magazine and Mini World which I know were around before our new MINI. Do any of you Brits (or others ) know if they now include new MINI info & stuff? Both are 12 months/year- (89 and 69 USD) Thanks, Erik Jet Black MCS Lapis leather 17s or 15s (winter) no DSC |

Offline | Both mags are for the Classic Mini owner. They have limited info on the new MINI, but there are more and more adverts for the MINI creeping into them as a source of info. Was a 1, now 1 of 150 in a 40 |

| Tinkering In The Garage | So far the best source of new MINI info is good old MINI2 as you know, as has already been said MINI is creeping more and more into the classic minimags and will probably continue to do so as more and more people get one and the cars get older. | Now With More Cowbell | Is that a reflection of some sort of brand snobbery at work? Something along the lines of "Well, we drive the real Mini, of course, not some German clone!" (Follow this with a haughty sniff). Or is it merely a reflection of the fact that the second generation hasn't quite infiltrated their consciousness? I must admit to having picked up both Mini magazines at my local bookstores, only to have been disappointed by a dearth of information that's relevant to me. I know these guys appeal more to the UK enthusiast, but what of us in the colonies, where the Mini wasn't sold at all in the past three decades? -CW Global Moderator |

| Tinkering In The Garage | i have asked Monty Watkins, the editor of miniworld about this and at the moment a lot of miniworlds readers don't like the idea of the new MINI being featured at all and they are worried about losing readership. Perhaps they should do another poll now the car has been out a while and seeif the split is still the same. Ady (R50) ![]() |
