new ONE whistling on idle???

Hi all,
Picked up my lovely brand new Mini ONE with a few toys 3 weeks ago Friday and all is well... That is until it decides to whistle when it's idling.

It's really odd, i can't narrow it down to being when the engine is hot/cold 'cos it does it at random times. It sounds a bit like a belt noise and sometimes when it is doing it, it will stop suddenly and them start again down the road.

I have lifted the bonnet and had a listen when it has been making the noise and it seems to be coming from the drivers side (on the left if looking at the front of the car for our international members).

Other than that the car is superb! Nearly 950 miles on the clock and it seems to be running in lovely! I've got the automatic gearbox and it is silky smooth, I was a bit worried when i decided on it because I know some people moan about the auto box on the mini but I find it even smoother than my dads jag!

Sadly found a dent in it yesterday but hopefully getting this sorted by dentmagic in Bristol tomorrow after work and then I can love my baby even more!!

Will upload a few pics tomorrow when I am back at a proper computer but thought I would ask on here to see if anyone can shed any light on the whistling noise!
