2002 Mini Cooper Auto Trans Dead? W0ot! - MINI Cooper Forum

Jumped in the car this morning started right up , went to shift trans and then nothing, cant even move in drive?? wot the heck! its a Auto trans CVT.. called a local shop that does these cars, hes first words was "oh boy its another one" he would not say what it is.

So what do you guys think happend to my trans?

Edit: shifter goes in gears but car dont move at all.

Sad to say it sounds like your transmission has died. Hopefully I'm wrong, but a 2002 CVT that won't get the car into gear sounds terminal.
