Naming your MINI?

How many of you actually give your MINI a name?

My MINI is a Black Eye Purple CooperS.

Registration plate ends with HTG, and I can't think up a decent name for him/her.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I just call mine THING!

Mine's called Max; (although it's got electric problems at the moment) - Mad Max!

I call my 08 plate Cooper (lightning blue, white roof/mirrors/stripes Chili pack) Jenson and my girlfriend calls her 11 plate One (1.6L Pepper White with Pepper Pack) Daisy.

An ex named my R56 JCW "Barney"... no idea why, but it stuck for some reason.

None of my previous MINIs (or other cars full stop, for that matter) have ever had names...

Picking up our JCW Coupe in British Racing Green on Friday (24th Nov), my Wife has already named it "Kermit".

HTG - close to the abbreviation for Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy so you have plenty to choose from - Slartibartfast for instance!

Thursday or Friday, either way (wouldn't want you to be late for collection ), you'll be the first Coupe owner on here I do believe.

You can easily attach pictures with the "Attach Files" option when posting a message, or link them from Photobucket or similar. There's a quick "how to" on the former method here.

Someone suggested Herman The German (shortened to Herman or Hermy) due to the last 3 letters of the registration plate being HTG and the BMW/German link.

I always name my cars. I have a JCW at the mo and he's called Walker.

My S hatch is called Henry and the missus S Convertible is called Alice.......both for obvious reasons
