Newbie Needs Help! - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi Guys,

firstly I have a 2005 (55) Mini One 7.

I have done a few searches on here and it seems like a few people have experienced similar symptoms, just looking for your thoughts and possible solutions.

When Im pulling away from a standstill, there is occasionally a 'juddering' sometimes quite violent, it seems to be worse if the wheels when pulling away.

there are various probable causes on here, from clutch to engine mount problems.

has anyone experienced and solved a similar problem?

any comments / advice would be greatly appreciated

Are you sure it's not the ASC kicking in? If I spin the front wheels when pulling away in my MCS I get something similar..........

I don't think so, I have something similar to ASC on my passat, this feel more mechanical
