 popping noise bumps sunroof 07 My 07 mini has developed the most annoying popping / cracking noise when going over bumps in the road only when the sunroof is fully closed... if i open it slightly on a tilt then the noise is gone! I've tried grease, opening and shutting it hundreds of times ... occasionally it goes away for a day but then its back again. its such a loud popping noise that it can be heard over the radio which is annoying. I tried shutting the guards but that made no difference. Any advice ? I'm sure it's a simple fix but I cant find where to start.. I don't want to have to go to the dealer as I'm forever going there and its becomming expensive.. the noise comes from the left passenger side.  |
