Mini for commuting - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi,

I have a 60 mile a day commute (mostly highway). I am thinking of getting a Mini to use for my main car, commuting and weekends. The highish MPG with a high fun factor appeals to me. I was thinking of getting a 2005 5 speed non-S convertible. I thought that had the right balance of price, fun and economy. What do you think?

Sounds good to me,not often you get fun and economy in one package,mini 2 seems to fit the bill nicely,let us know how you go on.

I would recommend choosing your wheel/suspension depending on the road conditions you drive in.
