New to the club

I have been wanting to get a Mini for a while now and finally got to the point where I am in a situation where it makes sense. COMPANY CAR!! Yes I run my own business, and drive a ton every day, so it just makes sense. A perfect mix of economy, sporty look and feel, along with a unique look. I ran into the perfect storm where I can't pass up the deal before me.

Being a kid at heart, I am torn. I have a sweet deal on a 2009 R56 six speed with low miles and a great price. Part of me is saying "REALLY GOOD DEAL!" but the other part says "But its not an S."

So the question is, do I have options to upgrade performance going as far as even adding a turbo? Any trusted resources or people that have done this?

Other items... I was told that Mini's are all pre-wired with the same electronics internally, so options can be added after the fact. This is what a dealer told me... I would really like to have the cruise control and ability to manage the sound from the steering wheel. Are these items that can be added? I really don't know if I can pass up this deal. Even if I were to do all the upgrades, I will come out on top.
