onboard trip computer

i av recently got a mini coopr s on 2003 plate it has the temp gauge but i cant get the avrage mpg on or any other thngs from the trip computer is there a special stalk lik on the golf gti,s or does the car come with all this

if your left indicator stalk has a little button at the back u can access the onboard computer using this button and it displays where the temp is shown!, if like my car u don't have the button I think u can purchase it from your main dealer although I am not sure of the cost! I haven't bothered yet but it is annoying having an onboard computer that u can't access! hope this info helps!

There is a retrofit kit for the on-board computer (pn 62130029492). Fitting requires 2 hours according to Official Retrofit Instructions and includes activation by dealer.
