A little help everyone!! - MINI Cooper Forum

Ok, I would like to know something about my mini. Its an 02 MCS with 105k, it is bone stock besides I got the mufflers cut off, and a weapon r intake. I want to put a 17% pulley on it, or should i just go with a 15%? (would it make that much of a difference?) but the only thing im worried about is would that be throwing to much power on the car with that many miles? Also i dont want to be replacing parts a lot and having to worry about parts breaking a lot. Would i have to get it tuned after this? Any help would be appreciated. Honestly I havent had my mini that long and idk much about them yet, so just a little help would be much appreciated!

Personally the first think inwould do is make sure it is in good condition. Have you got the service history of the car? How well has it been looked after in the past? When was the last time you had it serviced? If your not sure take it to someone like 1320 and ask them to do a health check on the car and take it from there.

Well I bought the car from a dealership and they had a little packet of all the service records. Plus right when I got it, I changed the oil, put ngk iridium plugs, and new plug wires.
