Not quite a lemon, but this car is certainly racking up the parts bills. I've had the car a month & this is what I've had to do so far:
New exhaust (Typing covered in cuts & bruises & dirt having fitted this tonight)
New Aux belt
New indicator lens
2 x new non runflat front tyres
4 x wheel refurb
Timing chain tensioner
Oil Change
New pads & discs all round
So mostly wear & tear parts. Adds up quick enough although the car is 100% better than when I got it. However, in the course of fitting the new exhaust tonight, I noticed the o/s front wheel is wobbling,so the wheel bearing is next up.
Question for the clever guys - When I remove the driveshaft nut, does it rotate left or right to undo? Since I'll need a breaker bar to shift it, it won't be immediately obvious to me which way it goes & some driveshaft nuts are threaded the 'wrong' way to ensure they don't undo in use. Anyone know?
