Boot leak and Exhaust question

Hi, bought myself a high miles Cooper 2003 for a bit of fun. Car is very tidy, runs great and has good history. Currently on 117,000 miles.

However a few questions. The boot well is very wet. I have searched on this forum and seen topics about light gaskets etc. what seems strange is that the boot shelf appears dry on top but wet underneath in the well. Is that odd or not?

Second question is that the rear exhaust looks rusty but not blowing. How much is likely to be to replace including fitting? The rustiest bit seems to be the exhaust guard which is looking poor.

Last but not least.... Any Indie Mini servicing available around the Wirral?
