DIY 04 R53 Cooper S exhaust issues

Greetings. I have a stock MCS R53. I havnt been driving it for about 4days now. So its just been parked off and never been started. This morning when I started it, It was idling for about 4minutes, I got out of the car and was just wiping it down with a cloth. I went to the back and the exhaust was shaking a lot. Its never done this before.and some sort of clear liquid (maybe water?) was being expelled out. It wasn't a lot,a few drops. But enough to get me worried. Is this just because I've started it after a long time, or could it be something more serious ?

Re. the shaking. Check the brackets that hold the two back boxes in situ. They are prone to rusting and eventually fracture making the assembly become loose. If you get any vibration in the cabin coming from the back, check those brackets.

A small amount of liquid/water expelled out the exhaust is not unusual on start up from cold especially after a few days non-use. For every litre of fuel used an amount of water vapour is created which condenses in the exhaust boxes under some conditions......this is why exhausts corrode faster on low mileage/short journey cars as the exhaust does not get hot enough to evaporate the water vapour away so often.
