Smile JC Penney R/C MINI Cooper

JC Penney currently has some remote control cars for sale. There is a Fast Gear, Tyoc R/C MINI Cooper. They are selling for 40% off Today, Monday and Tuesday. Original price about $30 to $35 dollars. This is probably similiar to the Tyco Mini in a can (classic mini), but boxed differently. The twoi stores in my area did not have any in stock yet so I will be checking on Monday and Tuesday.

Oh boy, I can get another R/C Mini.

Sold the Cooper. Now driving the Traveller. I mean Clubman.

I got one!

My local JCP has dozens of them - any color you want, as long as it's BRG. $35 less %40, plus NJ sales tax, came to just over $22. Looks like it's 1/32 scale. Haven't taken it out yet. I still have to explain to the wife why I've violated the "don't buy stuff for yourself just before christmas" rule...

Same here. Just picked up a new Nikko iRacer Mini Cooper (Red/White) for $29.99 at ToysRUs. Got some explaining to do to the wife as well.

I may swing by JCPenney this weekend to check out the R/C Coopers they have there.

Does anyone have a pic?

The deal is even better now!

I got a flyer in the mail on Saturday from JCP - the cars are now $19.99.

Yes, all the mini's are 27mhz, but they have a Chevy SSR at 47 mhz that you can pickup to race again. Just be sure to keep the weaker batteries in the Chevy... :-)

Nothing against JCP

but you can get the same car at Target (if you have one in your area) for 14.99 plus tax.

Shop around folks, and don't be fooled by the ads.

A friend of mine just sent me one from Oxford, and its remote operates at 40MHz rather than 27... so I can get another at Target, and race them! HOORAY!

Of course, Kevin cautioned me that the frequencies are different in each country because the UK model will interfere with US cardiac pacemakers, so I shouldn't use it near grandpa. Heh.

Texan. Goofy. Sometimes witty. Pacifist. Imperfect, nice guy. Trying.
