Leave this in general discusion please moderators!

Does anyone know how the sideskirts attach at the front? How many clips/screws and where they are?

I would like this information to be able to tell the BMW garage what's missing on my MINI.

The bottom clip/screw is there, but it's loose at the front where it meets the 'wheel arch'. It appears to be a hidden clip/screw that is absent.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Hi Paul,

Have you looked in the FAQ section. There are pictures and instructions on fitting the s skirts.

My ones had 4 new clips either side, but i sold them before i fitted them!! (due to selling lolly2).

I looked and read but couldn't really see where it's attached at the front, I wondered how many clips should be at the front of the side skirt?

Paul,near the front there is a clip about 1.5" from the end and another about 8" from the end and it continues on from there(I'am talking about the clips you can't see,the ones that run along the inside length of the sill}If you do a search under "s style side skirts" I posted pics and part no.s of the clips.I believe the white clips were at the ends of the sill.

Apparantly they will be ready to just fix it when it goes in. If not, it's always nice to tell them what part numbers they should order!

Anyone know the part number for the platic nut that fits on the last wheel arch trim towards the bumper end? Should be one on each side. Not on my MINI.

Should be 07 13 1 022 174 - If you a taling about the captive screw/nut aat the back of the front wheelarch trim

If you mean the rtim that actually fits on the bumper it's 07 13 6 800 198
