Personal profile settings - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi everyone,

I have a 2011 Mini Cooper Convertible. I am a little confused with how to set the personal profile settings for each key. If I go into the settings option on the trip computer with the car running, I can cycle through a number of options without a problem. But the handbook says I can set the basic audio volume levels, whether or not the side lights are always on when driving etc etc. The display has a downward pointing arrow at the bottom, indicating there are other options like these, but I can,t seem to get to them. Should I have them? Or how do I get to them? which buttons do I press?

Sensibly some options can only be done with the engine off. Basically you press briefly to move on to a new option or press and hold to select the current option. Later today I will check my own car for more details.
