Is Mini Cooper (05-07) automatic reliable?
Hi all, I am very keen to get a second hand 05-07 mini cooper (automatic), but have seen so many people complain it on the internet, are they really this unreliable?

Anyone has a good one that doesn't need major repair and is still using it daily? thanks!

(btw, the one i am interested in now is a CVT transmission, any opinion?)

If a CVT fails it will cost an arm and leg to replace. Look for a 2nd Gen model (2007 or newer) which has an Aisin automatic.
