Accelerator foot pain

I've had my mini cooper s for about 18 months now but over the past 6 month's or so I have noticed that I get foot pain with the accelerator pedal. I have tried adjusting my seat and wearing
different shoes but nothing makes any difference. Does anyone else have this problem? Can you adjust the actual pedal?

No, but you could consider having an invalid hand control fitted if its that bad for you?

Have you tried lifting your chair higher?
Iv heard about this is in a different car. I sometimes get is on long journeys.
I recommend lift the chair higher.
