Nip down and see the guy personally, perhaps his phones on mute.

Any chance you've ordered the automatic headlamps and the Chili pack? The auto lamps are being added to the Chili pack from this autumn - but Mini seem to be delaying any orders including both until the auto lamps become free. Why they don't just give people the choice between early delivery and 'free' auto lamps, I don't know.

I just wonder if your dealer is embarrassed by this Mini screw-up and is trying to get a better delivery date before speaking to you.

Call up the dealer and demand a call back or you will cancel the order. End of.
Minis are sort after vehicles but dealerships still need to drive sales and a cancelled sale won't look good.
If sales are like this, what will their after sales care be like?

Anyone thats in business should return a call from a customer even if its to say theres no news at the moment but they are chasing it, not just ignore you.

Cheers guys for your thoughts i do know about the upgrade to the chili pack i was one of the first to post on the site about the change as i thought this was the original problem.
i gave a list of a few things that are changing in the chili pack and should of also added something else that is coming as std in the chili pack which is the SPORT button which is good but like you say Angib its very frustrating that they may be trying to get me a earlier delivery but i wish i just bough the damn things than of waited for aslong as this. I know also that mine being a convertible theres further delays but, they emailed me at about 6 ish this evening apologising and have PROMISED me a call tomorrow to tell me what the heck is going on.
I was quite prepared to cancel and try again with another dealer but i dont have a lot of choice where i live so ill give him the opportunity to call and see what he has to say for himself Cheers for your answers guys much appreciated
:-)

Of course you have a choice, any one of the dealers in the UK can take an order by telephone, you are certainly not limited to local dealers. I just drove 320 mile round trip to pick up our latest car from Teeside
