Recommendation for non runflats - 17 inch wheels

Afternoon all

As the title suggests - thinking of replacing the runflats.
Anyone on here done the same with 17 inch wheels and if so, were you impressed / not impressed with you choice?

Car is a standard R56 Cooper.

Many thanks

I put on a set of avon zz3s last feb and I love em. Only problem is that the from 2 are already wearing out after just 7000 miles!!! I didn't know they were made of cheese. Has anyone got a good alternative?

The Goodyear F1 Eagle Asymmetric 2 gets very good reviews and if I was to change would be what I'd go for. Otherwise Falken 912 or 452 also very good reviews for a mid-range tyre.

Are they available in 205/45/R17 though?
I haven't managed to see them because they'd be my first choice.

I have zz3s too. Not done so many mile in them but they feel good and in 205 45 17 only cost around 80 quid ish.

Would recommend

I was thinking of swapping my run flats as well. after a bit of research I opted to stay with run flats, just had 2 Avon ZZ3 fitted to the front of my MC R56 today. so far the ride seems far better than the Dunlop SP Sport 01, As storage space is a premium and no room for a spare 17'' wheel. and not wanting to carry a mini compressor and gloop/slime etc. run flats seem the better option for me anyway
