Yes....the 4 litre can of Castrol Edge is not quite enough for an oil change, so you either buy 2x4L with plenty left for top ups or just an extra 1L bottle which is very expensive for such a small quantity!

Thanks for your help. I will take it to the dealership to get the oil change done. That way I know its done right.

or you could just buy 5ltrs of oil with the bmw spec..

i do my own oil changes they cost me £40 using oe filter..

asda sell 4ltr for £30 so cant see y you dont do it urself plus get filter from ebay/dealers

Halfords are selling 5L for £39.99 at the moment.
