Unhappy Big Bang!

OK, so it is stupid on my account. I would first like to acknowlege that. I was in a construction area and went through a bumpy road and bottomed out the front end then the back end. Then my power steering stopped working. I drove it home. I have an appointment to get it looked at on Tuesday. Any thoughts? I am hoping its something small. I can't afford a huge bill

Year and model of Mini always helps, they have different power steering depending.......?

If it is Mk1 check the main wiring connections to the pump (low down the back/behind the engine) have not dislodged.

Unhappy

OK, here's what the mechanic said. I bottomed out and it wrecked the fan that cools the power steering pump. Since it wasn't working, the pump basically melted. They had to order parts and it will cost me over $1000! I'm NOT a happy camper.
