Yes, totally agree. Why do TV program producers think shows like this have to have a Danny Dyer type character to front it?

Thanks for posting.

As a classic Mini owner no one in their right mind would pay 750 for a 2nd hand 998cc engine, sub-frame and brakes and then pay a further 500 for the shell.

The lightly fire damaged 2001 MINI Cooper could also have been easily diy repaired with used parts and made far more profit than stripping and then crushing the shell I think.

I reckon it was more a lesson in how to break down the car youve just nicked to make a few bob more than anything else, and the guy doing all the talking looks just like the typical shifty dodgy car dealer type that would do it too.
