Has any one on here took delivery of a new Convertible in the past few weeks or been promised delivery within a few weeks. Its a possibility i could have mine now at the end of January rather than march so things may be looking up However december would be a lot better but we will wait and see it was a bit of a conversation i overheard so it only takes MINIUK to close for Xmas and thatll be all gone pear shaped again
I collected mine last Saturday and it was exactly 7 weeks from order to collection. I could have picked it up a few days earlier if I had wanted but work commitments didn't allow.
When did you order yours?

wow that was quick im now at ten weeks with a prospective 5 more weeks to wait if the rumour is true which im doubting. My dealers are saying its to do with the type ive gone for and the additions ive asked for but we will wait and see hopefully going to be a noce xmas pressy or at least early in the new year??? Hope your liking your new convo would love to see some pics :-)

I had some very good news yesterday from williams my car has gone into production and will hopefully be here in december so no more wait til march cool.........it states on there system that the delivery date is going to be 1st Jan 2013 but it will either be brought foward into december allowing me to pick it up around xmas not the best time to be honest the amount of cash im parting with however there is a good chance it will alos be the first week in Jan which will be better. So good news all round :-)

Great news that yours is in production and I would expect it to be at your dealers well before Christmas so you could be getting yourself a nice pressie there!

If you hang on and have it registered on/after 1st Jan, it will be a 2013 and that makes a difference when you come to sell it price wise rather than a last year 31st Dec 2012?
Bit like the registration number, a 62 reg sold on the last day of that period will be not so desirable as a 13 reg sold the next day, when really theres no actual difference between the cars themselves.
hi nun and martin. (btw im Lee) it stating now on the mini system that delivery is going to be 4th Jan so like you say residuals will be ok but thanks for the advice mate:-) I understand the value issue good point to make though. I know the salesman was saying that if it comes in decmeber they will get it in there 2012 qouta but i dnt think it will be here just in time especially as the factory will be on a outage over the festive period. Thanks guys though for the chat.
Pictures will be here as soon as i pic mini up ill figure the posting of photos out sometime that day i do have a 300 mile round journey to make to pick the car up but hopefully it will be an early morning start on a train to manchester
