How is the ride on the road?
I got was fortunate to get hot laps in one at Goodwood
I gather it put the power down better than my
JCW
Is the GP gonna be your daily driver?

The ride is surprisingly good, very much like my Elise used to be. The grip is not very good in this weather, the tyres are almost slick and spin quite easily in damp conditions. It feels quicker already than my
JCW roadster. It won't be used as my daily driver, as I want to keep the mileage down. Not sure of anyone else who has one yet.

My local dealer delievered one last week to a guy
They have another coming in soon as it just go into build
I being a passenger in the hot laps in one - the ride was slightly more firmer than my
JCW but it put the power down ALOT better
The next tryes i am putting on my
JCW will be 215/40/17 given the extra width the tyre

Who's your local dealer?
The handbook (separate addition) even mentions the tyre differences and aquaplaning, increased tyre wear etc..

Sadly no bcs it was a pre production build with no safety nannies
I did drive a few MINIs
I took my
JCW around the track which cool
Little bragging rights with your GP the Challenge race car couldn't overtake the GP on the straight!!
The GP wasnt that far behind the challenge car
