Gloss black arches

Was thinking about getting my arches colour coded (Mini is BRG), but then i was thinking of gloss black arches, just wondered peoples thoughts?

Also, plasti-dip or vinyl wrapped arches?

Has been done before and looks really good (although I've only ever seen a handful) - so a "yes" vote from me.

Personally I'd get them resprayed - I'm not sure you'd get an adequate finish from plasti-dip, and painting the various trim pieces would probably be easier than wrapping (even with the necessary prep).

If you're thinking about it in terms of returning to standard in future, I wouldn't worry too much - new arches etc. from BMW are actually surprisingly reasonable. Would likely be easier to buy new, rather than return to original (especially once you've accounted for broken clips and the like).

I'm not too fussed about replacing them in the future, but i think getting them sprayed is probably the best method for the long term. I only mention vinyl wrapping as it's a cheaper option.

I was just unsure how it would look, being black with green, but i think it will work out!

They are black as standard, until it fades that is, so BMW obviously think they "go" with any colour.
