Help - Alloy Hi, i know this iswheels what does the number printed in the center mean

Hi, im new to this so go easy on me if im in the wrong place. i have tried to post this in a thread about aftermarket alloy wheels but it says it is no longer being maintained.

Driving home in the snow last week i've managed to slide across a junction and hit the curb with my wheel on front lock.
I buckled my front passenger side wheel and scuffed it to the point that i need a new one.

I have a 2007 Mini Cooper with the R108 Multi Spoke wheels 17 inch. i have only managed to find 1 wheel on ebay for sale as these seem to be the rarest mini alloy wheels out there.

Im hoping someone on here will be able to help because all 4 of my wheels manufacture fitted have the number '1' printed in the center of the alloy. The one which i have found on ebay has the number '15' printed. Does anyone know what this number means? Does it mean its a different size or model?

It may just be a tool casting number or manufacturing date code?........as long as it is the right type of Mini wheel and width it should be ok. However if it was taken off a different make of car the hole pcd and offset could be different.

Ok thanks, i'll check the width and make sure its the same as mine. They are genuine mini wheels so hopefully as long as the size is correct everything should be ok.

thanks for the reply!

Is your damaged wheel definitely scrap? You would be surprised the magic some alloy wheel repairers/painters can do. If you haven't you might want to show it to a local place and see what they think.

He said its buckled and thus I dont think its really advisable to try and straighten up a bent alloy, unless its the last one on earth of course.
