 Is this injector noise

I have posted before on this.............but this really bugs me. I have a 2011 Mini Cooper petrol in the UK. At various times, especially when warming up I can hear a real distinct tap or rattle/tick from the engine. It appears to come and go depending on how hot the engine is and how long it has been idling for. My dealer says its the injector system. But if you open the bonnet and put your ear towards the back near the injector rail, the noise is more to the drivers side (uk car) and under the injectors. So you can here it from th wheelarch. As soon as the car comes off idle it will go. Is this normal? Any ideas?
