Talking Run Flats

I've been searching online all day. There is controversy over this. My tires are now runflats. But they are 2x the price of regular all-seasons. Some people say you can do that, others say they have to be runflats. Maybe we could start a discussion here so I will know better what to do. My tires aren't that bad right now, so its not urgent (touch wood). What is your opinion? Its a 2003 Mini Cooper.

No Brainer.

Yes you can get rid of the run flats, there is no difference in the suspension set up to accomodate run flat tyres
Should you change them? Absolutely yes! Its a no brainer. The steering, ride and general feel of the car will be transformed.
If you local dealer is accomodating, do what I did. Ask them if you can borrow a set of wheels with standard tyres and then go for a test drive. You will be amazed.
