This morning I started up my MiNI one 2004 petrol RHD. Instantly there was a horrible loudish noise coming from under he bonnet, as soon as I press the clutch down the noise stoped again when I released the clutch this noise starts again Im no mechanic but the clutch was replaced 3 years ago (not by a mini dealership). The car as running fine last night and now its annoying me
Anyone got any views on what this could be?
Thanks. Car is now booked in for Tuesday morning to be looked at, after taking it to my local garage the mechanic started the car up and he said instantly yeah thats the problem but its safe to drive. Is it?

Clutch problem???
