Convertible roof

Buying a 2006 and noticed today that the drivers rear window doesn't go up when the roof is put back up and the quarter windows both sides are a bit slow and hesitant going down. Is this the norm or should I be looking for something?

I believe the windows can be reset. As for slow performance that could be the battery or alternator or both. That said it could be window motors or wiring. On out 2012 cooper S convertible you get the impression the roof takes a fair bit of power to operate and Always operate the roof with the engine running. Hear in mind that if the car has just been started from cold the battery will have already had a drain from the starter motor. Better to check the operation of the good after a good 30 minute drive to make sure battery is topped up .
