Looks fun but VERY expensive. Mind you I wouldn't let someone thrash my MINI round the track for double that!

Where are they getting the mini that goes 0-60 in five seconds? JCW claims 6 secs with all the mods. Liar liar....

Yeah, I noticed that also. Very optimistic. Or is it wishful thinking?

Remember JCW car et al have constraints of interiors / normal batteries treaded tyres etc etc etc .. As I have said many times before here even a midly tuned race car will be considerably faster than it's 'racer boy' road equivalent

I have no doubts you could get a stripped out slick shod S to 60 in five

Question Anyone know which circuit it is

I'm thinking that going direct might be cheaper

Was: 02 MCS - DS/BL - Alloy Patina - Half Leather - Mille Miglia 18" Alloys - Toyo 235/35/18 Rubber

Now: 03 MCS - CR/WH - Anthasite Dash - Leather - White 18" Exel TZ-10 Alloys - Union Jack Roof Decal - K&N Typhoon - XM Direct

A general test day at most UK circuits wihtout instruction is on average £125 BUT you require a race licience to participate - With instruction is about £350 for a day but that is more like 4 or 5 20 minute sessions as oppossed to a couple

For those without race liciences there are two routes

1) Trackdays which again are about £125 with £20 per hour tuition
2) Obtain a race licience (you don't have to use it for racing about £125 for an ARDS course then you can paritcipate in any test anywhere

Of course all these option use your own car - If you want to drive someone elses you'll look at £500 p.d + for a days testing / trackday

You pays your money you takes your choice

Last alertanitive - find a friendly MINI2 member with a race prepped car and make an offer!?!?

You (or AndyW) taking bookings?

There had been mutterings of a MINI only track day next year, so keep an eye on MINI2 for any developments
