Scotland Removal of bonnet stripes/roof stickers

Just wondering if anyone has taken their bonnet stripes off? If so what did u use? Did it show on the paintwork where they were?

i have used a wall-paper steamer to take off venal stickers off lots of cars. yes there will be paint marks of where they have been, but half hour with a mop will soon fix that,

Took a chequer roof off my wifes. Used a compound polish with a Rotory polisher and was perfect!

you can use, ready for this, De-ICER to get off any unwated glue that is left behind, or just by Goo-Go.

De icer is a solvent, so it can remove the wax polish and soften the paint. If you're careful how you apply it ie only on the glass it will be diluted with the melt water before it hits the paint, and should be ok for normal use.
Normal as in removing ice. Please do t use on paint work!
