I recently made a private purchase of a 2010 (60 plate) Cooper S. The seller only had one key. I've no idea if this is the master key or if such a concept applies to the R56? I think a spare key from a mini dealer will be very expensive but I've found a scrap yard on eBay based in Skelmersdale selling one for £40. Does anyone know if it will be possible to have the eBay key programmed to work with my mini?
My R56 doesnt have master key, Ive got the 2 and both are exactly the same.
Ive heard that once a key is programmed thats it, it cant be reprogrammed to work in another car, you need to do it with a new one??
