Has anyone on here fitted the daytime running light kit, 63122338554, themselves, instead of the stealer doing it? Looking to purchase a kit but save on the labour costs.
I have a '13 Mini with running lights. I just learned yesterday in setup I can turn them on or off. I've had a few recent cars with running lights WITHOUT the ability to turn the feature off simply by going into setup.
The cost of the lights are about £298. Got mine done for £347. Is £50 really too much to ask for a professional install, and no comebacks and even less head scratching !
Had these fitted to my Countryman Cooper S, they took the garage 4 hrs to install, so I would be very careful if you intend DIY. Certainly look good, very pleased with end result.
Fitted the DRL Led lights this afternoon. Took me 2 hrs and they work a treat. Definitely a good investment. The kit cost me £220 ( local dealer price matched Stratstones on EBay). I saved £180 in labour. Very happy with the result.
Just try searching the forum or searching the web, shouldn't be too hard to find. Someone
will probably help you out if he didn't already.
So if you already did then awesome. Someone will need this post if you don't
When the headlights or foglights are switched on, all but the top quarter of the DRL ring is switched off.
