Offline | High mileage? Just got my MINI one a couple of weeks ago - I've worked out I'll be doing 20K+ miles per year in it. Is this high for a MINI? How many miles/km are MINI2 members racking up? |

Offline | That's on the high side for any car. I believe the average for UK owners is ~10-12k miles/year. I do almost exactly 1k/month so 12k/year. Having said that there is no reason the MINI will not perform well as a high mileage car. Your TLC package may run out in ~2 years though. Red/Black R56 Cooper |

Offline | Thought that would be the case - just means I can superchip it soon without worrying about losing out on TLC! I guess doing 390 miles a week getting to and from work is quite a bit! At least I'm enjoying the journey now! |

Offline | 1200 k in 4 months... and i have to find reasons to get out since i live, shop and work downtown Montreal!!! Fortunatly, i have a garage so the car doesn't get damages on being park in the streets with salt, slutch, other cars bumper, etc... So i guess i'll be one of the few owner of a "low millage" mini 2002 in 2030!!! And this summer, i'm taking out his garage friends... so plenty of choices then for my rides!!! I'm gonna miss the mini handling and braking when taking my other cars... ![]() Spadsept MiniCooper S '02,DS/DS (sold) - Volks Bus "Camper" '67 Mustang GT convertible '66 - Jeep Cj-7, '79 Audi A3, '06 |
