Require a new Catalytic converter

I need to replace my Catalytic converter due to acceleration lost on my current Mini One, 1.4, 2007 with 110,000 miles. The acceleration lost pointed to 276A Catalytic converter conversion rate faulty on a generic OBD scanner. Most aftermarket Catalytic converters only last 10,000 miles and are relatively cheap to purchase. However I will like to select a Catalytic converter which last another 100,000 without the Mini price tag. What branding are currently in use which are reliable in the UK?

Please help...

I have found this: CATALYTIC CONVERTER MINI BM91480H BY BM CATALYSTS | eBay

It is EU 103R Type Approved, therefore contain more precious metal.

I intend to do 90 miles a day on my Mini, therefore would that be ideal?

2007+ Mini One/Cooper Exhaust Manifold & Catalytic Converter (Done 5000 Miles) | eBay

Which one should I purchase and suit. I am tempted to purchase the genuine one because it will last for mileage.

Any opinion?

I been in touch with Auto Spares and they have two Catalytic Converter in stock which will fit my Mini.

One is from a mini one 2011 with 500 miles - 125
second one is from a mini one 2008 with 40,000 miles. - 69

The guy on the phone has assured me that Mini one 2011 Catalytic Converter will fit my Mini, even-though it is taken from a newer model with a 1.6 engine.

The Catalytic Converter & two 02 sensors arrived early morning yesterday. I also brought a set of NGK Spark Plugs and had the local garage replace the parts for 70. Bargain Alert!

Drove the car home yesterday and it seem to be running with full acceleration. I am going to Portsmouth today therefore will discover acceleration at high speeds.

If anyone require a new Catalytic Converter grab it from a written-off car rather than spending $$$ on a after-market part which will only last 25,000 miles. In total I spend 125 for a genuine Catalytic Converter including almost new 02 sensors. The cheapest after-market Catalytic Converter from BM was 250 + the cost of two 02 sensors.
