Advice? What are these things? R56 Cooper S

A quick question for all you folks. Firstly a hello, as I have recently bought a 2010 R56 LCI cooper S which is brilliant.
However I noted these black tabs in my lower grill, which when uncovered are small bolts. They are on both sides of the car and are not connected to the intercooler behind it. I have not seen them on any
Any idea what they are? I have hopefully managed to attach some photos.

I think maybe the nail has been hit on the head. I wonder if they are for an A frame dolly to tow the car behind a motorhome.
