Offline | questions my dealer knows naff all Um can you get retro fit washer jet's and heated mirrors????????????????????????????????????????? + anyone had any prob;s with thier tints , my cooper was tinted when i got it and it has just ripped all the way up the window when i brought the window down today lucky i was at the dealers are the factory tints stuck on or is it smk glass? anyone help + who's is that cooper i see zooming along the harrogate bypass every morning she is hot :-0) got to go ruddock you still alive ???????????????? Black cooper , Black lid , Aero kit , 17's ,clear lights,4 driving lights yippee, and the rest to much to list i love it whoooooshhhhh that was me :-) |

Offline | well, in the U.S. at most dealerships tint is applied via an outside source. the dealer may offer some sort of warranty....if you had it installed at the dealership. cool lights ![]() '94 Miata....not stock...by any means '00 Honda VFR....ride to live... |

| heterochromic & loving it | Re: questions my dealer knows naff all In theory anything can be retrofitted, it's just a matter of the cost. It all depends on how the car is wired, some types of car come with a harness pre-wired for all options, then it's just a matter of plug 'n' play with the particular component. On the other hand, some types of cars are only wired for what is on the build sheet, in which case retrofitting would be a bit more work and a bit more £££ (i.e. if the chunk of the harness from "central control" to the mirrors is different for a car with just power mirrors vs a car with power and heated mirrors). I can't say I know which is the case with the MINI. I can say that heated mirrors and washer jets are handy in the winter, though, so I can see why you would want them... -Ricardo |

Offline | Thanks for the advise . yeah ruddock the tints are getting fixed by pro tech in shipley i might ask em if they can put darker ones on what you reakon ? hope you had a good christmas i was busy working all the way through it what a bummer but it was good lol im loaded now <grin> taking mini up to the lakes back end of jan for a weekend spin gonna be great then im flying over to st luica for 2 weeks yipppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeee hope it's nice !! lister park are ****ing me off at the mo though they cant fix this clutch prob i have evry time i take it in it never does it :-( they have spotted the fault before but cant pin it this time plus it has been 3 times for a moterway whistle and they cant fix this either ohhhhhhhhhhhh anyway you been down there recently ? got to go thanxs for the help guys rob ![]() Black cooper , Black lid , Aero kit , 17's ,clear lights,4 driving lights yippee, and the rest to much to list i love it whoooooshhhhh that was me :-) |
