Mini Cooper S - How to remove front grill.

Hi, we have just picked up a Mini Cooper S with JCW conversion and thoroughly hooked already.

I have a number of plans for the car bu the first is to sort the chrome pack on it. I am tempted to spray the chrome parts of the grill and wondered if anyone knew the process to remove these and if they come away without removing the bumper.

Any thoughts would be really appreciated! Or should I just but the JCW kit off the internet in black?

Thanks.

The upper grille chrome parts can be removed without the need to remove the front bumper yes.
But if youre blacking out all that, you then need to do the waistline trim below the windows, the wheels, wheel nuts, the headlamp rings, and fit the headlight units with the black reflectors, then theres the door handles and fuel filler cap, the rear number plate plinth, the rearlight surrounds and then when you get inside, oh no lots of shiny bits in there too do.
Big job and its not to everyones taste when you come to sell it again.
