My wife sometimes refers to her Mini as the "Red Terror", but I secretly think that the name relates to the way she drives and what other road users think about her!
Bet you can't wait for Tuesday My wife is waiting (not very patiently!) for her mini roadster and is going to call it Princess Fiona because it's BRG and a bit of a princess.
Our first was Black Beauty because she was, the second Claire de Lune like a black night with a full moon the way she brightened us up even though she was black, the new one is Pearl because she's white and we picked her up on Pearl Harbour Day.
errr no, I find all that thing a bit odd same applies to calling a car/any mechanical thing a he or a she. I think the only thing that gets away with it are ships.
I'm no good at names either, my OH picked it then gave me stick for not coming up with it myself... I'm a big BBT fan so it should of been obvious to me.
We used to let our son name cars when he was little.
Mk1 fiesta, Stinky Blue
His grandads Carlton, Grotty Grey
And our 205 gti is called Rudey Red... and now the donor gti is called Dudey Red :nice:
My pepper white 2010 S Cabrio is called "Diablito Blanco". I think that name stuck after I had one too many passengers exclaim "what the hell!?" at some point during their inaugural ride. It's entirely possible that I spent the first month owning that car scaring the daylights out of everyone who was brave enough to ride with me.
