and Volvo is the truck of the year! Wonder how Ford is going to explain that to its F-150 fans.

Hmmm. The MINI isn't North American. Perhaps the title should be "Car of the Year, North America".

You lot will be claiming that Ford is North American next.

I think the award has more to do with where the car is sold rather than manufactured. I do most certainly agree with the award none the less. Well done MINI!!

Certainly a well-deserved award. I must admit that I didn't think the land of the big car would "get" the concept of the MINI.

Congratulations, MINIUSA!!!!

Kudos for a job well done!. The MINI RULES and this car has proven that HP and displacement alone are not the main reasons to prefer one car over the other.

This should boost our resale values as well!
