My mini and I could be famous on Thursday! I got a phone call from my Mini dealer to see if I wanted to be in a story about car sales for 2002 in THE AUSTRALIAN newspaper. I agreed, so THE AUSTRALIAN sent out a photographer who took a heap of photos with my Mini and me.
If they use any of them it will be in THE AUSTRALIAN on Thursday and there will be me with my Mini.

There is a tradition in most Fire Houses and Police Departments that if you have your picture in the paper, you owe your shift ice cream. It is a nice tradition. I think we should continue it here, don't you?

Icecream????? A tradition in regimental messes of the Australian Army is often shouting the bar to an amount determined by where the article was reported - a local paper might be $20 over the bar when a national paper might be $50.

Is the story available on line?? What is the title of it. I haven't had much luck looking for it online. What about scanning it in, please?

Sorry I dont have a scanner.
The story was about how the younger generation is more likely to buy a new car then their parents.
